Kelvin R. Westbrook

KELVIN R. WESTBROOK is President and Chief Executive Officer of KRW Advisors, LLC, which provides strategic and general business and consulting services to companies in telecommunications, media and other industries.

Mr. Westbrook is a member of the boards of several public companies, including Archer Daniels Midland Company; Camden Property Trust (Lead Trust Manager); The Mosaic Company; and T-Mobile USA, Inc. In addition, he is the immediate past Chairman of the board (2014-2019) of BJC Healthcare, a multi-billion dollar not-for-profit healthcare system and serves on the boards of BioSTL, Commerce Bank (St. Louis), N.A. and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis. He is a member of the Washington University School of Medicine National Council and the Advisory Board of the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington (Seattle), and devotes energy to other community projects and charities in St. Louis. He previously served on the boards of St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Christian Hospital, and other entities affiliated with BJC (1996-2019), Angelica Corporation (2001-2008), Stifel Financial Corp. (2007-2018), the National Cable Satellite Corporation, better known as C-SPAN (2002-2011), and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (1999-2007) and has been featured by Black Enterprise magazine as the CEO of one of the nation's 100 largest businesses owned by African Americans.

Previously, Mr. Westbrook served in various senior executive positions with companies engaged in the broadband telecommunications business (1994-2007) and was a Partner in the national law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in New York City, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, and served as Co-Chair of its Telecommunications Practice Group.

Mr. Westbrook received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington (1977) and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School (1982). He lives in St. Louis with his wife of 37 years, Valerie Bell, and they have three adult children, Lauren, Erinn and Brent.
