Biosurfaces
Matthew Phaneuf has extensive experience in the medical device research and development sector, having served as President of BioSurfaces, LLC from January 2003 to January 2017, where significant advancements in electrospinning technology and medical approaches were achieved. Phaneuf co-founded NuVascular Technologies, Inc. in August 2014, focusing on devices for end-stage renal disease, and successfully established key partnerships and secured funding for the venture. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at BioMod Surfaces and Assistant Lab Director at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where research on biomaterials and prosthetic grafts was a primary focus. Phaneuf holds a B.S. in Chemistry with a Biochemistry option from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
