George A. Karam

George A. Karam possesses extensive experience in protein chemistry and project management within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Protein Chemistry Target Development & Management lead at Biosynth since April 2017, Karam coordinates various protein and antibody development projects in collaboration with partners, clients, and contractors. As the Founder and President of BioAlliance, established in April 2015, Karam focuses on designing and managing projects related to proteins and antibodies. A former Vice President of Research & Development at AffinaBio Inc. and a Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer Pharmatherapeutics, Karam has a strong background in preclinical and clinical development, vendor management, and cross-functional project leadership. Karam holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Iowa State University and a degree from the Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Biochemistry.
