Manuel Bernardez Dominguez

Manuel Bernardez Dominguez has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Manuel worked as a Tax Trainee at Pfizer, where they were responsible for VAT preparation and income tax withholding. Later, they joined the Superintendencia Nacional de Costos y Precios (SUNDECOP) as a Fiscal, conducting audits and fiscalization to ensure compliance with Price Law in Venezuela. At Contraloría Estado Vargas (CEV), they worked as a Junior Auditor, executing audits, reviews, and investigations on various institutions and agencies. Manuel then joined Alliotts as an Auditor, preparing working papers for interim and final audits.

In 2015, Manuel began working at KPMG, first as a Consultant II, handling tasks related to fraud risk management, corporate intelligence, and regulatory enforcement and compliance. Later, they became a Senior Consultant, leading medium-sized projects and strengthening their critical thinking and professional judgment skills.

From 2017 to 2023, Manuel worked at GAPTEK Arquitectura Modular. Manuel started as an Accountant, and then became the Financial Controller. In their role as Financial Controller, they created the new department of Control de Gestión, developed budgets and continuous revisions, managed inventory valuation and analysis, and participated in improvement projects.

Most recently, Manuel joined BioSystems as a Corporate Controlling Manager in May 2023.

Manuel Bernardez Dominguez has a comprehensive education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Starting from the most recent, Manuel pursued a Master of Controlling at UNIR - La Universidad en Internet from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Audit from Universidad 'Santa María' between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, Manuel attended the National School of Administration and Public Finance (ENAHP-IUT), where they earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Management Control from 2012 to 2015. Lastly, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Fiscal Sciences, with a specialization in Taxation, also at the National School of Administration and Public Finance, from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their degrees, Manuel Bernardez Dominguez also holds a certification in Suficiència 3 Català C1, which they obtained in March 2022 from the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística.
