Naama Geva-Zatorsky has a diverse and accomplished work experience. Naama is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at BiotaX since April 2020. Prior to this, they were a CIFAR Global Scholar in Humans & Microbiome at CIFAR starting from October 2018. Naama also holds the position of Assistant Professor and CIFAR Global Scholar in Humans & Microbiome at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since October 2017. Additionally, they work as a Principal Investigator at the same institution since September 2017.

Their previous roles include being a Fellow at the L'Oreal Unesco Women in Science award, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from September 2011 to October 2017, and a Regional Manager at BioAbroad from 2013 to 2014. Naama also worked as a PostDoc in Prof. Uri Alon's lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science from March 2011 to August 2011. Naama completed their PhD in Systems Biology of Cancer in Prof. Uri Alon's lab at the Weizmann Institute from April 2005 to 2011.

Naama Geva-Zatorsky earned a PhD in Biology, with a specialization in Systems Biology, from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Naama completed their doctoral studies between 2005 and 2010.
