Surachet Soontontaweesub is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Quantum biotech Co., Ltd. Surachet also serves as an Advisor to the Committee on Science, Technology, Research, and Innovation at the Thai Parliament. Previously, Surachet worked as a Research Assistant at the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. Surachet was also a Research Advisor at AVS innovation Co., Ltd. and a Trainee in Quality Control at PQ chemical Co., Ltd. Surachet is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Sustainable Energy System at the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

BIOTEC-NSTDA
BIOTEC aims to make an impact on the well-being of Thai people and the world through science and technology development. The National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or BIOTEC was launched under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Energy on 20 September 1983. After the establishment of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) on 30 December 1991, BIOTEC became one of the NSTDA's national research centers, operating outside the normal framework of civil service and state enterprises.
