Colleen Shrader

Colleen Shrader, MSHRD, CHRS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Colleen currently holds the position of Director, Human Resources at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization. In their previous role, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at the Institutes for Behavior Resources, Inc., where they provided HR consulting services. Colleen also served as the Director, Human Resources and Administration and the Human Resources and Administration Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Colleen worked as a Human Resources Consultant and Interim Human Resources Director at Hospice of the Chesapeake, where they assisted with policy questions, coached employees, and created performance documents. Colleen also served as a Human Resources Business Partner at the same organization. Colleen started their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Cheiron, followed by a role as a Human Capital Management Generalist at ATK. Colleen then worked as a Global Human Resources Assistant at T. Rowe Price and as a Human Resources Assistant at The Archdiocese of Baltimore. Colleen gained early experience as a Human Resources Intern at Stevenson University and HMSHost. Colleen Shrader, MSHRD, CHRS has a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development from McDaniel College (2010-2013). Colleen also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Psychology from Stevenson University (2006-2010). In addition to their degrees, they obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate from Southern New Hampshire University (2021-2022). Colleen has also received certifications as a Certified Human Resource Specialist (CHRS) from the National Association of Healthcare Leadership Professionals and as a Predictive Index (PI) Facilitator/Analyst from The Predictive Index (both certifications obtained in 2021).
