Stephan Kuhne has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Stephan began their career as a Temporary Employee at AkzoNobel in 2002 and worked there until 2009. Stephan then joined Technische Universität Kaiserslautern as a PHD Student, where they focused on the development of a new kind of photo-bioreactor for the cultivation of terrestrial cyanobacteria. During their time there, they also educated and taught students about biochemical engineering.

In 2014, Stephane Kuhne joined VTU Engineering as a Process Engineer and worked there until 2018. During this time, they gained experience in process engineering.

In 2018, they joined Biotest AG as a Manager Quality Control|Head of Lab Molecular Biology, a role they held until 2019. Stephan then transitioned to the role of Manager Quality Control|Head of Labs Molecular Biology, which they held until 2022. Currently, they are working as the Head of Quality Assurance Systems - Audits and Supplier Management at Biotest AG.

Stephan Kuhne completed their education with a Diploma in Biologie, allgemein from RWTH Aachen University from 2003 to 2010. Stephan then pursued a Dr. Ing. in Biochemical Engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. In 2017, they attended Alphadi Akademie and obtained a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Qualitätsmanagementbeauftragter from Certeuropa GmbH, as well as GMP-related technology from VTU Engineering.
