Tharwat Jad

Tharwat Jad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tharwat is currently serving as the Head of Facility & Hygiene at Biotest AG since May 2023. Before that, they worked at AbbVie as a Facility Project Manager from November 2020 to April 2023 and as an OPMF (Manufacturing and Engineering Services) from March 2019 to November 2020. Tharwat Jad also has experience in project management and team leadership roles at Continental from March 2017 to October 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Group Manager/Gruppenleiter at Continental as well. Tharwat has worked as a Senior Business Relations Manager at FREX L.L.C from February 2012 to December 2016, as a Business Development Manager at Etisalat from February 2006 to January 2012, and as a Business Development Manager at Mashreq Bank from November 2001 to January 2006. Tharwat Jad's earlier work experience includes apprenticeships at Aerogulf Services Company LLC, KLM UK Engineering Limited, and GAMCO (Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company).

Tharwat Jad obtained an Engineer's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Emirates Aviation College in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 1999 to 2001. Tharwat also obtained a Trading Manager's License in Financial Exchange and Equity Trading from Dubai International Financial Center Authority in 2005-2006. In addition, Tharwat Jad earned a BTEC National Engineering Diploma from Pearson Edexcel - UK from 1999 to 2001 and a Foundation degree in Design and Applied Sciences from Frederick University in Cyprus from 1996 to 1999. Tharwat Jad completed their high school education in Science at New Port Pacific High School in Pennsylvania, USA from 1994 to 1996. Tharwat has also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Project Specialist certification in 2018.
