Andy Lavagnino

Andy Lavagnino has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andy started their career as SVP CFO & COO at Novato National Bank, where they were responsible for various operational aspects including data processing and lending. Andy then worked at KPMG as a Manager in Financial Consulting, providing business consulting services for large-scale technology projects.

Lavagnino went on to become the CFO of Brightware, Inc., a venture capital-backed software company, where they prepared the company for an IPO and eventually arranged for its sale. Andy then served as VP Finance & Controller at LookSmart, a public international search targeted marketing company, overseeing financial management and regulatory reporting.

Subsequently, Lavagnino took on the role of CFO at inCode Wireless, a pre-IPO wireless technology services company, managing financial matters and representing the company in banking relationships. Andy then became VP Finance & Controller at Kintera, where they handled revenue recognition policies and worked on SEC filings.

After Kintera was acquired by Blackbaud, Lavagnino transitioned to the role of Division Controller of the Internet Solutions Group, overseeing internal and external audits and managing a team of 50. Andy later served as VP Corporate Controller at Ethertronics, Inc., where they were responsible for worldwide financial and accounting operations, including international reporting to the Board of Directors.

Currently, Lavagnino is working as a Contract Controller at bioTheranostics. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong financial and accounting background with a focus on international reporting, SEC filings, and operational management.

Andy Lavagnino began their education at American River College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 1977 to 1980. Andy then went on to pursue higher education at California State University, Chico from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Their studies at Chico included fields such as Accounting, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Andy Lavagnino obtained a California CPA License from the California State Board of Equalization in January 1986.
