Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Biotheranostics

Katherine Church-Nguyen has a comprehensive work experience in the field of clinical laboratory science. Katherine started their career at National Undersea Research Center, UCONN Avery Point as a Marine Laboratory Intern in 2009. Following that, they worked as an Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant at University of Connecticut Biology Central Services in 2010. Katherine then joined GeneDx as a Technologist I in 2010.

In 2011, Katherine became a Research Associate at Bio-dx Inc and later transitioned to Millennium Health as an Associate Scientist in 2013. Katherine continued to expand their expertise at GenomeDx Biosciences Inc. as a Clincal Laboratory Scientist from July 2016 to October 2017.

Most recently, Katherine has held multiple roles at Biotheranostics, Inc. Katherine started as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in January 2018 and quickly progressed to the position of Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist in September 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, which they started in November 2021.

Katherine Church-Nguyen pursued their education in Biological Sciences at the University of Connecticut from 2006 to 2010, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) from Laboratory Field Services in April 2016 and in Molecular Biology Technologist MB(ASCP) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in September 2015.
