Arvind Shakya

Arvind Shakya currently serves as the Director of Pharmacology at Biotheryx, Inc., a position held since March 2022, after previously holding the title of Associate Director of Pharmacology. Prior to Biotheryx, Arvind Shakya worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Principal Scientist from December 2019 to March 2022 and served as a Senior Scientist in Pharmacology at Celgene from September 2016 to December 2019. Arvind Shakya's academic career includes an extensive tenure at the University of Utah School of Medicine from 2007 to September 2016, where roles included Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pathobiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution, and a DVM degree in Veterinary Medicine from G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.
