Lorenzo Uccellini

Lorenzo Uccellini, PhD, serves as the Director of Business Development at Biotia since February 2025. Previously, Lorenzo held multiple roles at Enzo Life Sciences, Inc., including Associate Director of Marketing, where responsibilities included launching new service areas and generating significant revenue streams, and Head of Laboratory Developed Test (LDT) for Molecular Diagnostics, achieving cost savings through successful diagnostic instrument submissions. Lorenzo also directed pre-launch activities for the GENFLEX Analyzer, contributing to substantial revenue growth. Lorenzo's earlier experience includes positions as a Scientist at Columbia University and other institutions, focusing on clinical and translational research in infectious diseases, and a Visiting Fellow Scientist at the National Institutes of Health, where projects concentrated on biomarkers in melanoma. Lorenzo holds a PhD from the University of Milan, with a focus on infectious diseases, and extensive educational credentials in biotechnology.
