Fabio Vassao has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1987, they worked as a Trainee in Quality Control at Alcatel Lucent Brasil. In 1990, they briefly served as a Physics and Science Computer Teacher at ITA College before transitioning into the medical field. From 1994 to 2003, they held various sales, marketing, and business development roles at BIOTRONIK, focusing on the Latin American market. Fabio then became a Technical and Training Consultant for the company before being appointed as the Business Development Director for Brazil. In 2005, they established their own consulting company called Technolife Consulting, where they served as President until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Coach, Teacher, and Keynote Speaker for The John Maxwell Team from 2011 to 2016. In 2017, they joined BIOTRONIK again as the Regional Sales and Business Development Director for the USA.
Fabio Vassao obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Computer Sciences from FEI in 1993. In 1994-1995, they pursued post-graduation studies in Marketing at FAAP. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they completed an MBA with an emphasis in Health Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Florida Christian University.
