Eliza Tortorella

Eliza Tortorella is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and project management within the energy sector. As the Director of Business Development at National Grid Partners since September 2013, Eliza has focused on connecting startups with operational teams and utilities to foster innovation in addressing industry challenges. Prior roles include Director of M&A Project Management at National Grid Ventures, overseeing significant transactions such as a $100 million acquisition of Geronimo Energy and the establishment of a $700 million joint venture for renewable energy assets. Additional experience includes leadership positions in global procurement and environmental programs at United Technologies and the Environmental Defense Fund. Eliza holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a BA in Political Science from Colorado College.
