Jan-Marc Kartenbender is an experienced development engineer currently working at BIOTRONIK in the R&D Competence Center, focusing on development projects related to drug-coated balloon combination products. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Quality Engineer at ETH Zürich and a Fellow in Management Consulting at ritzenhoefer & company. Kartenbender has held multiple teaching assistant positions in biomechatronics and engineering design at ETH Zürich and has completed internships with RWE Generation SE and Bosch. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, as well as a Research Scholar in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University. Early education includes attendance at Claremont Secondary School and Gymnasium Essen-Werden.
