Haven McCall is a leading expert in regulatory science and the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Novo Laboratories, LLC, an innovative company in regenerative medicine since January 2020. McCall serves as a lecturer in the Regulatory Science Graduate Program at The Johns Hopkins University and is a board member of BioUtah, an association for the life sciences community in Utah. McCall has held various high-level leadership roles, including Vice President of Quality and Regulatory at Ultradent Products, Inc. and Megadyne Medical Products, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with global regulations. With over two decades of consulting experience in quality, regulatory affairs, and clinical research through Regulatory Haven, LLC, and having founded Canyon Labs, McCall is notable for developing and implementing regulatory strategies for medical devices. Academic credentials include a Doctorate and a Master of Science in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California, along with a Master's in Business from Northern Arizona University.

BioUtah is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association serving Utah's life sciences community through events, advocacy, media, connectivity, and more. We are committed to growing the Beehive State into a global life sciences leader--a recognized epicenter for innovation, job creation, and advancements in health care quality. We represent a diverse range of members, including manufacturers and developers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and biotechnology products, as well as government, academic, and healthcare institutions. Our members also include national trade associations and key service providers who support our industry. We are passionately focused on growing Utah’s life sciences industry by advocating for legislative initiatives at both the state and federal level that support the cause of health care in Utah.
