Nate Royalty

Nate Royalty is an accomplished professional in the field of entomology, currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at BioWorks Inc. since June 2021, where responsibilities include the development of innovative biological crop protection solutions and organizational growth aligned with company strategy. Prior experience includes significant roles at Bayer Crop Science, where Nate led strategy for insect control and managed the R&D pipeline for transgenic insecticides, as well as directing the Biologics insecticide portfolio. Previous positions also include product development management at Bayer Environmental Science, global management of biological research at Aventis, and leading herbicide field research at Rhone-Poulenc Ag Company. Nate holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Entomology from The Ohio State University and the University of California, respectively, alongside an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
