Douglas Fuhrer

Douglas Fuhrer, PhD, DABT, is an accomplished toxicology expert with extensive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director of Toxicology at BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc., Douglas has previously held significant roles including President of DJC Safety Consulting LLC, Scientific Director at WuXi AppTec, and Senior Director at Ricerca/Toxikon. Douglas also contributed to the field as Director of Toxicology and Head Toxicologist at Threshold Pharmaceuticals (Molecular Templates) and InterMune, Inc. (Roche).
