Daniel L. has over 30 years of work experience. Daniel began their career in 1990 as an Economist for the Israeli Navy, where they served as a Procurement Budgets Officer interfacing with naval command, engineers and commercial contractors. In 1995, they became the Director of Marketing for Ornetix, a pioneer of Network Attached Storage (NAS). In 1999, they Co-Founded and served as CEO of WebAppoint, which was acquired by Microsoft in October 2000. In 2011, they were the Founding-CEO of StemRad, an Israeli-American company, which developed a solution for the protection of first-responders who are exposed to highly-penetrating gamma radiation emitted in such events. In 2016, they became the CEO & Founder of Bioz, Inc., which offers the world's first search engine for life science experimentation. Daniel also serves as a Board Member for Bioz and StemRad. Additionally, since 2017, they have been an Admissions Judge & Startup Advisor for StartX Med (Stanford University's Startup Accelerator), a Medical/Life Science Industry Expert, Fundraising Advisor, and Investor Demo Day Panel Member. Daniel was a Top 70 quality contributor to StartX for the years 2019-20 & 2020-21.
Daniel L. began their educational journey in 1988 when they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics in 1990. Four years later, in 1992, they continued their studies at Boston University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management in 1994.
