Trent McClure, CSPO

Trent McClure, CSPO has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2004, they served as a Fuels Supervisor - Fuels Management (2F0X1) (Staff Sergeant) in the US Air Force Reserve. In 2007, they worked as a Business Analyst for DXC Technology. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Engineering Associate for Norfolk Southern Corporation and a Business Analyst for CGI. In 2012, they worked as a Digital Experience Business Systems Analyst for UPS. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Product Lead - Digital for Verizon Connect. During this time, they collaborated with Development Teams, Scrum Masters, Architects, as well as other teams around the enterprise to deliver on the product roadmap through user stories and agile development (SCRUM). Trent also increased Verizon Telematics connected car subscription product (Mercedes me) revenue by $17m with targeted personalized emails through Marketing segmentation, and personalized microsite content delivery. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Director, Product Management - Global for Brightstar Corp. where they were responsible for standing up a new product team (Product Managers and Associate Product Managers UX Manager), defined product roadmaps, transformed development to agile methodology and delivered configurable, scalable platform solutions. Trent was also responsible for standing up and managing a $15m portfolio of fulfillment SaaS products that reduce the overall Average Equipment Cost to Brightstar Device Protection and drove revenue by offering innovative repair vendor API solutions, device repair and replace options for customers that file device insurance claims. In 2019, they were the Director, Product Innovation for Nationwide. Currently, they are the Vice President Of Product Management for Panoramic Ventures and BIP CAPITAL. At Panoramic Ventures, they are also the Director of Product Management. Trent is recognized as one of the most active Venture Capital firms in the Southeast, serving entrepreneurs, investors, and operators to grow the emerging company ecosystem in our geographic area. Trent applies experience and process to make both investment decisions and operational recommendations, allowing our portfolio companies to get and stay on a glide path of growth. Areas of focus include Enterprise SaaS, Healthcare IT, Digital Media, Dev Tools, and MarTech.

Trent McClure obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Management from Wright State University. Trent also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
