Lesley Jantarasami

Lesley Jantarasami currently serves as the Managing Director of the Energy Program at the Bipartisan Policy Center since November 2019, where leadership focuses on federal policy efforts regarding deep decarbonization and clean energy standards. Prior to this role, Lesley was the Senior Climate Policy Analyst at the Oregon Department of Energy, overseeing data collection, energy trend assessments, and policy recommendations. Previous experience includes serving as a Climate Science and Policy Analyst at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where contributions were made to regulations for greenhouse gas emissions, and holding various positions in federal agencies including the U.S. Department of State and the USDA Forest Service. Lesley holds dual Master’s degrees from the University of Washington in Environmental and Forest Sciences and Public Administration, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University.
