Lori Pickford

Lori Pickford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy policy and government relations. Currently serving as Senior Energy Advisor at the Bipartisan Policy Center since June 2022, Lori previously held the same title at Bipartisan Policy Center Action and was the Vice President of Federal Affairs at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions, where efforts were focused on engaging conservative policymakers on climate change solutions. Prior experience includes roles as Principal at The Ferguson Group and Executive Vice President at Morgan Meguire, LLC, where Lori collaborated with leadership to develop client relationships in the utility sector. As Senior Government Relations Representative at the American Public Power Association, Lori led lobbying efforts on federal tax and electricity deregulation issues. Early career experience includes working as a Senior Legislative Analyst at Skadden, Arps, where Lori cultivated key Congressional relationships. Lori holds a Master of Arts in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a minor in Marketing from Old Dominion University.
