Nino Marakovic

Nino Marakovic is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as CEO and Partner at Sapphire Ventures since 2006, Nino focuses on helping entrepreneurs build global, category-defining businesses through investments in growth-stage technology companies and early-stage venture funds. Prior to this role, Nino was a Partner at IVF Ventures (2004-2006), focusing on expansion-stage investments in information technology, and Executive Vice President/Partner at MVC Capital (2000-2004), where the focus was on later-stage technology investing. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Senior Associate at Robertson Stephens (1998-2000) and as an Associate at Goldman Sachs (1997) and Analyst at Morgan Stanley (1994-1995). Nino holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1998) and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Williams College (1994).
