Davis Alianiello

Davis Alianiello is an experienced educator and playwright currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College, teaching Playwriting I. In addition to this role, Davis is an English Teacher at The Birch Wathen Lenox School, instructing AP Literature and Composition, Contemporary Drama, and 9th grade English Literature, while also acting as a student advisor and faculty advisor for the student newspaper. As an Associated Playwright for Playscripts, Inc., Davis has seen works produced extensively across the US and internationally. Previous positions include Drama Program Coordinator at Bishop Hendricken High School, where curriculum development and instruction were key responsibilities, and Artistic Director for Strange News, a theater company focused on new works. Davis holds an MFA in Playwriting from Hunter College and a BA in English and Theatre from Muhlenberg College, with additional education from the University of Edinburgh and ongoing studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
