Michael Hurnaus

Michael Hurnaus currently serves as the CEO of Tractive, a leader in GPS tracking and health monitoring solutions for pets, a position held since September 2012. In addition to this role, Michael is an owner and investor at Hornet Ventures, where there is a focus on investing in growth-potential businesses, particularly in the Pet/PetTech and B2C recurring revenue sectors. Michael also functions as a business angel and investor for several companies, including Bird Buddy and Filu Vet, aimed at modern veterinary care, and Pezz® life, which specializes in at-home urinary testing for pets. Michael's previous role on the advisory board of Basepaws highlights a commitment to pet DNA testing and analysis. Michael earned a Master of Science in Digital Media from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
