Sankalp Rao Yerra

Sankalp Rao Yerra has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Sankalp Rao started their career as a Research Assistant at Lakehead University, where they conducted various reliability studies and performed soil tests. In 2020, they joined Aecon Group Inc. and worked as both a Field Coordinator and a Field Technician. After that, Sankalp joined Astaldi as a Project Control Coordinator, where they were responsible for coordinating projects. Currently, they are working with Bird Construction in the role of a Project Control Coordinator.

Sankalp Rao Yerra has a diverse education history. In 2012, they began their undergraduate studies at Anna University Chennai, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering. Sankalp Rao successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2016.

Afterwards, Sankalp Rao Yerra proceeded to pursue a Master's degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering at Lakehead University in 2017. Sankalp Rao completed this program in 2019.

Continuing their educational journey, Sankalp Rao Yerra is currently enrolled at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Project Management. Their PhD program began in 2022, and they are presently actively engaged in their studies.

In addition to their formal education, Sankalp Rao Yerra has also obtained several certifications. In October 2019, they obtained an Engineer in Training certification from Professional Engineers Ontario. In March 2020, they became a certified Concrete Field Testing Technician through the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories. In June 2020, Sankalp obtained a Water Proofing Inspector certification from Sika. Sankalp Rao further expanded their knowledge and skills by completing a Project Management certification course offered by Procore Technologies in July 2021. Most recently, in June 2022, they acquired a Basics of Supervising certification from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA).
