Antonie Smaal

Antonie Smaal is an experienced logistics and supply chain professional with a diverse background in various sectors. Currently serving as a Logistics Coordinator at Bird Control Group since July 2025, Antonie oversees global shipments, inventory management, customs documentation, and supplier communications. Previously, as CEO and Co-founder of InsureMyTrans Group AB, Antonie developed a platform integrating cargo insurance into logistics systems. Other key roles include Logistics Project Manager at Atos Medical, where freight costs and logistics efficiencies were evaluated, and serving in humanitarian logistics roles with the Danish Refugee Council and the World Food Programme. Educated at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences with degrees in Business Administration and Logistics & Transport Management respectively, Antonie's career includes significant contributions to project management and operational efficiency in logistics for leading organizations such as A.P. Moller - Maersk and the World Maritime University.
