Saskia van Veen's work experience includes roles at Bird Control Group, Austria Deuren, iSense ICT Professionals, Albert Heijn, Boomkwekerijmuseum and Djoser. Saskia began their career in 2009 at Albert Heijn as a Parttime Medewerker Verkoop, where their communication skills were honed and they were eventually given more responsibility and occasional leadership of the team. In 2013, they took on a role as a Stagiair Afdeling Reisbegeleiding at Djoser, where they maintained contact with travel guides, advised customers on trips and made bookings, as well as analyzed customer complaint reports. In 2015, they completed a research project for Boomkwekerijmuseum, analyzing the old policy plan and developing new strategic objectives for the upcoming policy plan. In 2016, they became an IT Resource Consultant at iSense ICT Professionals, and in 2017, they took on a role as a Verkoper Binnendienst at Austria Deuren. Most recently, they have been a Customer & Sales Support Specialist at Bird Control Group since 2019.
Saskia van Veen completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Toeristisch/recreatief management at Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2011 to 2015. Saskia is currently enrolled at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, studying Snow Tourism & Norwegian Culture and Society.
