William Johnston

William Johnston is a partner at Bird Marella, where expertise in government investigations and complex business disputes is utilized, following an extensive career as a federal prosecutor. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Chief in the Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, where responsibilities encompassed major fraud investigations, and as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Early experiences also include positions at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where significant legal research and writing were performed. William Johnston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford University Law School.
