Kirra Stutchbury

Head of Projects & Communications at Birdi

Kirra Stutchbury has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kirra started their career as a Boarding House Matron, Swimming Coach, and Teacher's Assistant at The Dragon School in 2008. Kirra then interned at the Office of Congresswoman Susan Davis in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at batyr in Operations and Human Resources. Kirra also worked as an Analyst at Octopi Waters from February to July 2013. Kirra joined Ceres, Inc. in November 2013 and worked on the Corporate Program, providing research support and facilitating stakeholder engagement processes until April 2015. In May 2015, they joined stok as a Marketing Lead, focusing on marketing and brand strategy in the built environment. Kirra developed sustainability initiatives for clients and communicated the value of building optimization. In December 2016, Kirra became the Head of Projects & Communications at BIRDI Pty Ltd, a leading drone platform that enables businesses and government functions to integrate and scale drones into their operations. Lastly, in September 2018, they joined the Wildlife Conservation Network as a Director.

Kirra Stutchbury attended Pymble Ladies' College from 2002 to 2007. Kirra did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during their time there. Afterwards, they enrolled at The Australian National University from 2008 to 2012, where they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree alongside a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Their areas of focus at the university included Marketing, International Business, International Relations, and History.
