Sarah Strickland has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Sarah recently joined Birdie in 2023 as a Growth Strategy Associate, where they contribute to their mission of transforming the lives of older adults through their home healthcare technology platform. Prior to this, they worked at Ledgy as a Strategy Associate and Strategy Analyst from 2022 to 2023. Additionally, Sarah was a Mentor at Slipstream Education from 2020 to 2022 and an Accelerator Programme Coordinator at Founders Factory from 2020 to 2022. Sarah Strickland attended Manchester High School for Girls and achieved A* grades in Chemistry, Geography, and History A Levels. Sarah then went on to study at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Double 1st Class degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences. In addition to their academic achievements, Sarah has also earned certifications such as Associate Member from The Institute of Leadership & Management, Trustee Leadership Programme from Cause4, and Introduction to Data & SQL from Code First Girls. Sarah obtained these certifications in 2021, with the Trustee Leadership Programme and Associate Member certifications being obtained in February, and the Introduction to Data & SQL certification obtained in January.
