Tiago Katcipis

Tiago Katcipis started their career as a trainee at Cyclops Group in 2007 and continued their studies at UFSC until 2011. Tiago then worked as a Software Developer at Digitro Tecnologia from 2010 to 2015. Subsequently, they served as a Senior Backend Engineer at Neoway Business Solutions from 2015 to 2019. Tiago then joined fromAtoB as a Senior Backend Engineer until 2020. Later, they worked as a Lead Platform Engineer at Flink in 2021 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Mineiros from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Tiago is working as a Principal Engineer at Birdie since 2023. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in infrastructure development, scaling, and observability, along with proficiency in various programming languages and technologies.

Tiago Katcipis completed their Bachelor of Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in the years 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Insitituto Estadual de Educação from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as "Big Data através de exemplos com Apache Spark", "Utilizando o Git para um Versionamento Inteligente", and "Introduction to Linux" from institutions like Chaordic and edX.
