Victor Akihito

Victor Akihito is a dedicated Computer Science PhD student at Universidade de São Paulo with a focus on deep learning methods to enhance question and answering systems. Victor has developed a novel training framework called WSQASA for domain-specific problems. Parallelly, Victor serves as a Data Scientist at Birdie, engaging in projects such as clustering methods, sentiment analysis, and model optimization. Previous experiences include a Data Science Internship at HVAR Consulting, specializing in Natural Language Processing, and a Scientific Researcher role at FAPESP, where Victor analyzed sentiment in videos using advanced machine learning techniques. Victor completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at USP with high academic honors and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at the same institution.
