Christopher Sands serves as the Global Director of Communications at BirdLife International, where responsibilities include overseeing communications for 48 national partners and leading campaigns to influence EU policy on biodiversity and agriculture. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at CNN during the Paris terrorist attacks and COP 21 climate conference, a communications executive position at SABIC contributing to corporate strategy and cultural reform, and the head of strategic communications at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, where leadership in communications and marketing was established. Additionally, Christopher has a diverse media background with roles at ABC News, NBC, and other notable organizations, where a passion for storytelling was ignited in the original JAWS film. Christopher holds a degree in History from Harvard University and has studied at the University of Cambridge.
