Kath Towers

Kath Towers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering. Currently serving as the Project Support Office Manager at Birdon Group since March 2023, Kath previously held multiple senior roles at the Australian Department of Defence from July 2016 to March 2023, including Senior Project Manager and Resident Project Team Lead for the SEA 5000 Hunter Class Frigate Program. Earlier career positions include Operations Director at the Engineering and Technical Centre of Expertise, Manager of Production Engineering, and Acquisition Manager. Additionally, Kath gained experience as Small Appliances Manager at Harvey Norman and Project Manager at Mobil Oil Australia from 2012 to 2014. Kath holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Wollongong, earned between 1997 and 2000, and completed education at Narooma High School from 1990 to 1996.
