Rory Buckingham

Rory Buckingham, ACII, currently serves as the Commercial Director at BirdsEyeView since May 2024. Prior to this role, Rory held various positions at TransRe from March 2020 to March 2024, including AVP, Accident & Health Manager, and Senior Underwriter for Accident & Health, Kidnap & Ransom, and Terrorism. Additional experience includes significant roles at Swiss Re from October 2017 to December 2019 as a Senior Underwriter and Assistant Vice President for Contingency and Sports PA, and previous underwriting experience at StarStone Insurance from September 2013 to September 2017. Rory began professional development through internships in insurance broking and underwriting in 2012. Educationally, Rory is ACII qualified and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Leeds.
