Dan Weaver is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the chemical and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as an Engineering Fellow at Birla Carbon since May 2019, Dan previously held the position of Director of Process Engineering at Exide Technologies, where leadership was provided to a team of over 15 process engineers. Dan's career at Cabot Corporation spanned nearly three decades, during which strategic direction in manufacturing technology and process optimization was established as Global Manufacturing Technical Director, alongside roles such as Implementation Manager and Global Technology Manager. Dan began the career as a Process Development Engineer at UOP Inc. and holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, specializing in Electrochemistry, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
