Gib Hordes

Gib Hordes currently holds the position of Head of Strategy, M&A and Sustainability at Birla Carbon, starting in June 2025. Prior to this, Gib served as VP - Corporate Strategy and M&A at Aditya Birla Group from October 2018 to May 2025, where over ten strategic planning projects were completed for various industrial businesses. Gib's experience also includes a tenure as Director - Corporate Strategy and M&A at Hindalco Industries Limited, where an annual strategic planning process led to the identification of over $100 million in cost-saving initiatives. Additional roles include Vice President of Corporate Strategy and M&A at Affinion Group, strategic marketing leader at GE Capital, and associate at Strategy&, part of the PwC network. Gib began a career in investment banking as an analyst at Raymond James Financial Inc. Gib holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
