Pankaj Kanwar

Pankaj Kanwar is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with significant experience in the cement industry. Currently serving as Section Head Mechanical at Birla White since January 2022, Pankaj oversees the grinding section as the maintenance in-charge, focusing on enhancing reliability and availability while preparing capex proposals that incorporate AI in maintenance strategies. Prior to this role, Pankaj held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Aditya Birla Group from June 2017 to December 2021, managing maintenance for a 10,000 TPD pyro section and executing major capex projects. Experience includes managing projects at Jai Prakash Associates Limited from September 2010 to June 2017, where Pankaj handled the erection and commissioning of significant machinery, alongside other planning and execution responsibilities. Pankaj's career began with a trainee position at Munjal Showa Pvt Ltd, where a project aimed at improving production efficiency was undertaken. Pankaj holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University.
