Soumen Chowdhury

Soumen Chowdhury is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales operations and management across various industries. Currently serving as the Zonal Head (Vice President) at Birla White since April 2023, Soumen oversees operations in the Central zone, including regions such as Bihar, MP, UP, Uttarakhand, and Nepal. Prior to this role, Soumen held significant positions at Vodafone Idea Limited, including Vice President of Sales Operations and Vice President of Retail Operations, managing substantial annual revenues and large teams. Soumen also served as Associate Vice President at Idea Cellular, focusing on sales and operations in multiple states, and held managerial roles at Nokia, HP, Philips Lighting, and Development Consultants Limited. Soumen holds a PhD in Business Policy and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Raipur and multiple degrees, including an MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
