Mustafa Okay

Mustafa Okay is an experienced financial executive who has served in various leadership roles throughout their career. Mustafa is currently an advisory board member at Birlesik Odeme, a payment processing company in Turkey. Prior to this, they served as an executive director at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) from 2004 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the country's payment system and ensuring its compliance with international standards. Before their work at the CBRT, they were a manager at the Payment System Department of the Central Bank of Turkey from 1998 to 2003. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency of the payment system. earlier in their career, they worked as a system analyst at Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM), a government organization responsible for administering exams and placing students in universities. Mustafa has also served on the advisory committee of PayCore A.Ş., a payment processing company, from April 2020 to March 2021.
