Lee Yale-Helms

Lee Yale-Helms is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in public sector services, including local government, health, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Finance & Resources at Birmingham Children's Trust since September 2018, Lee previously held roles such as Associate Lecturer at The University of Manchester and Director of Finance at Doncaster Children's Services Trust. A former Managing Director of YALE HELMS CONSULTANCY LTD, Lee also contributed to CIPFA as Associate Director, National Institute Council Member, and former President. With a career beginning at Cheshire County Council, Lee has extensive experience in financial governance, analysis, and advisory services, complemented by academic qualifications from Liverpool John Moores University.
