Rob Pickup

Rob Pickup is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance and Resources at Sandwell College since April 2023 and as a Member of the Board of Trustees - Audit Chair at The Hospice Charity Partnership since June 2019. Notable achievements include guiding the merger of two hospices to enhance service resilience and financial viability. Previously, Rob held various leadership roles, including CFO Advisor and Director at R Pickup Associates, where advisory work led to the effective utilization of the Mental Health Investment Standard. Rob's extensive background in the NHS includes positions such as Interim Director of Operational Finance for NHS England – Midlands, Chief Financial Officer at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, and Director of Finance, Performance & IMT at Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. Educationally, Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Sheffield.
