Hope Powell

Hope Powell currently serves as the Technical Director at Birmingham City FC since July 2023. With extensive experience in women's football, Powell has been a consultant for FIFA since 2013, contributing to global coach education and overseeing the Coach Education Manual and Technical Study Group for major tournaments. Additionally, Powell has held the position of Technical Consultant for UEFA, focusing on tournament analysis for both the European Championships and the Champions League. From January 2013 to November 2022, Powell was the Head Coach at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. Earlier in the career, Powell served as Coach Educator for the Professional Football Association, delivering education to players in several clubs, and as the National Coach for the England Women's Teams from 1998 to 2013, handling all aspects of national team management.
