Mike Rigg

Mike Rigg is an experienced football executive currently serving as the Technical Director of the Academy at Birmingham City FC since April 2024. As the founder and Association Executive of the Association of Sporting Directors since June 2017, Mike has established an international platform for the sporting director role. Additionally, Mike acts as a Football Consultant and Mentor at I C S Ltd. Previous roles include Sporting Director at Al Jazira Sports & Cultural Club, Technical Director at Burnley Football Club, Chief Football Officer at Fulham Football Club, and various positions at Manchester City Football Club and The Football Association. Mike Rigg holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science & Coaching from The Manchester Metropolitan University, obtained from 1995 to 1998.
