BIRN was founded in 1896 and is today one of Northern Europe's largest foundries. At our foundry in Holstebro, Denmark, our approximately 500 employees develop customer-specific cast iron solutions to the automotive industry, the pump and hydraulic industry among other industries around the world. BIRN offers full service of cast iron solutions and is a committed development partner from idea to finished product. We are a part of one of Northern Europe’s largest foundry groups, the BIRN Group, which also includes the companies Tasso A/S, Uldalls Jernstøberi A/S, Kockums Maskin AB, Vald.
