Liza Goldstone currently serves as a Technology Service Management Intern at Deloitte and is a Birthright Excel Fellow with Birthright Israel Excel. Liza has held various roles at Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, including Writing Consultant for First-Year Engineering Design and Pratt Tour Guide, while also working as a Digital Communications and Project Lead at includesign. Previous experience includes a Summer Analyst position at GM Ventures and a Design Coach role with Design the Future. Liza's earlier positions include management intern at Gamut Management and ambassador responsibilities with BUILT BY GIRLS. Liza graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and has participated in programs such as the Ronald & Carrie Ludwig Duke in Silicon Valley Program and the Jerome Fisher M&T Program. Liza completed secondary education at Pine Crest School, earning a high school diploma.

Birthright Israel Excel

Birthright Israel Excel is an prestigious lifelong business fellowship for young Jewish adults that begins with a 10-week professional experience in Israel. Highly accomplished Jewish college sophomores, juniors and seniors from the US and international markets as well as Israeli soldiers, students and young professionals pursuing careers in business and/or technology are welcome to apply to Excel. During the summer program, Birthright Israel Excel Fellows from the US and international markets intern at a prominent Israeli company. Internships are at firms with global reach from a wide selection of industries, including finance, venture capital, consulting, technology, startups, engineering, bio-tech and marketing. Throughout the summer, all Birthright Israel Excel Fellows, including those from Israel, engage with distinguished Israeli leaders from business, technology, politics and philanthropic organizations on a broad range of topics including leadership, Jewish identity, the global economy, and teamwork. In addition, Birthright Israel Excel Fellows travel on designated weekend trips throughout Israel designed to encourage a deeper understanding of the State of Israel and its history. Upon completion of the summer programming, all Birthright Israel Excel Fellows continue to network together to expand both their leadership and business acumen and join an exclusive community of next generation global Jewish business leaders. They are joined by dozens of prominent Israeli mentors as well as North American advisers, as part of the broader Birthright Israel Excel Professional Community.
