Makayla Ballenger

Makayla Ballenger is a Software Development Team Lead and API Developer at Business Information Systems (BIS) since June 2019. Previously, Makayla served as a Soccer Referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation from November 2012 to November 2022, officiating matches for various age groups. Makayla gained experience as an IT Intern at Continental, where work focused on active directory and data security. Additionally, Makayla has been involved with the Asheville Buncombe Youth Soccer Association since 2011, progressing from a volunteer to head coach of a youth soccer camp. Makayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Concord University and previously pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics at Queens University of Charlotte.
