Jonathas Carrijo has a long and varied work history. Jonathas began their career in 2002 as a Programmer at the Universidade de Brasília, where they worked on the IT Lab's access control system. In 2004, they joined Accenture as a Programmer. In 2005, they began working at Politec as a System Engineer, where they worked on several projects, including the Nota Fiscal Eletrônica system for the state of Goias Treasury Office, and a J2EE/Cobol intranet system for a government bank. In 2006, they became a Co-Founder and Technology Director at Oobj Tecnologia da Informação, where they helped structure the software house and the operations team. In 2017, they joined Zcash Company as a Community Manager for LatAm. In 2016, they co-founded Biscoint.io, where they served as Executive Director. In 2022, they began working at BitPreço as co-CEO.
Jonathas Carrijo obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Universidade de Brasília between 2001 and 2006. Jonathas also obtained certifications from Oracle, including SCWCD - Sun Certified Web Components Developer 1.4 in August 2006 and OCJP - Oracle Certified Java Programmer 1.2 in July 2001. Additionally, they obtained an IELTS International English Language Testing System score of 7.5 / 9 from the British Council in February 2016.
